Bosnia, here we come….

After warm and sunny Sweden (it was warm while I was there) I have now moved to the southern (colder) part of Europe. After a tough day (went to bed at 1.30h , up at 6.00h , flied Stockholm-Belgrade, spent a few hours there, took a car to Bosnia –Tuzla all with a daughter that want´s to explore the world= does not want to sleep) the first thing that came to my mind was… I need a SHOWER. There is something very calming about shower and after days like the one yesterday I could literally spend hours under the warm water. Anyway today´s deal was to stroll around Tuzla , and of course finish the day with THE Bosnian national dish… Ćevapi …

Beggars soon on Swish?

Passing by a (sad) beggar today I realized that soon they will have to change their way of life OR the way of collecting money… I can take myself as an example. I never have cash. Never… ever. If I want to give money I simply cannot (unless I can pay with a card… which on the other hand would make me wonder)… and the more the technology progresses less cash people will have. Somehow  the new solution would be to have something like Swish… I guess? For Swish,though, you need a bank account which I doubt these people have. In any case… imagine the scene where you donate money to a beggar via Swish? …Weird thought…

Elections in Sweden…Licence for voting

Today, in Sweden there were elections. For the time being the social democrats are taking the lead. However, there will not be any absolute majority putting the big parties in a position where they have to compromise until the point of their politics is completely different then planned from the beginning. The horror result though, are the racists from the SD party getting more than 10%.They hate everyone and strongly believe that all problems in the world are solved when you throw out foreigners from a country or when you stop the “horrible islamization”. It is the refugees or muslims fault when companies move to China, or that the refugees run away from the wars to our beautiful Sweden (consider the fact that Sweden is among the top countries selling their weapons to these countries in war). Somehow it remainds me of nazis tone towards the jews not too long ago. Seeing that I strongly start to believe time has come for having a

license for voting.

To have the right to vote you have to pass a test…

My argument: We also do not allow anyone to drive a car….

And yes, I did vote …

What a day!

Today, was one of these days where everything goes wrong. First, I got a tax bill. I knew how much I had to pay even before I got the bill but deep inside I hoped that someone in the tax department had made a mistake and forgot about me. Utopia, I know because in Sweden EVERYTHING is controlled over internet. Anyway, I never understood how someone (some politicians) can claim that it is

cool to pay taxes

Honestly, I find it much better to get money than to give money. I understand WHY we pay taxes, but to say that it is cool is a statement I do not really agree to…

Next mess was a flooding in the apartment. My fathers friend wanted to help me out and connect the new dishwasher to an old pipe, when everything went wrong and the water was just pouring out from the pipe. Me and my father where staring in disbelief. The first thing that came to OUR mind was to turn of the valve to stop the water and then to clean up the water.My fathers friend sat there very cool looking at the water spurting…

Third thing happening was that I almost put fire on my apartment ( overdramatizing a little bit 🙂 ) when I forgot to turn of the cooking range and it was cooking and cooking until the fuse got overloaded and turned off all the electricity in the apartment. I ran to see what happened and remembered the pot on the cooking range. Removing the pot from it flames started but I was very cool and solved the situation…
